This Sweepstakes may be modified, canceled, or postponed by Sponsor at any time in its sole discretion due to pandemic (e.g., Coronavirus/COVID-19).

Eligibility:  The NBA Game Ticket Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is only open to legal permanent residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 years of age or older (or of the legal age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older) at the time of entry (each, an “Entrant”). Employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents of NBA Media Ventures, LLC (“Sponsor”), NBA Properties, Inc., the National Basketball Association (“NBA”), the Women’s National Basketball Association, the NBA 2K League, their collective member teams, and any applicable Players Union including but not limited to the National Basketball Players Association and the National Basketball Retired Players Association (collectively, the “NBA Entities”), and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, governors, owners, distributors, retailers, advertising/promotion agencies and teamDigital Promotions, Inc. (collectively, “Released Parties”), and the immediate family members (parent, spouse, sibling or child and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win a prize. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Void in Quebec and where prohibited by law. The information you provide as detailed below will only be used for Sweepstakes purposes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 pm Eastern Time (“ET”) on 10/24/23 and ends at 11:59:59 pm ET on 3/25/24 (“Sweepstakes Period”).  The Sweepstakes will have twenty-two (22) Sweepstakes Entry Periods (each a “Sweepstakes Period”) outlined in the Winner Determination section below.

How To Participate: During the applicable Sweepstakes Period you may access the Sweepstakes in one of the following ways: i) Visit nba.com/id (the “Website”); or ii) Using a wireless device access the NBA App (the ‘App’) on iOS or Android and sign in with your NBA ID, or create a new NBA ID. Once signed into your NBA ID account you can follow the links to the enter the Sweepstakes in accordance with the instructions provided.

Limit one (1) Entry per NBA ID, person and e-mail address, regardless of the number of email addresses used per day. Additional entries received from any one person or email address thereafter during any one day will be void.

The NBA ID program is free. Data and usage rates may apply to download, installation, and use of the Sweepstakes’ mobile App (“App”) or of a mobile phone or other web-enabled device, check with your service provider for details on these and other charges. Wireless service is not available in all areas. Incomplete registrations are void.

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, late, misdirected, stolen, undelivered, misdirected, damaged, or garbled entries; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in transmission, interrupted or unavailable network, cable, satellite, Internet Service Provider (ISP), server or other connections; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or technical failures; garbled, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; incomplete entries or communications; the cancellation or postponement of any game, or other errors; printing, typographical or other errors appearing within these Official Rules, in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, computer, electronic, mail or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, with limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize, or the cancellation or postponement of any events or games.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an Entrant who they believe has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes.  ANY ATTEMPT BY A PERSON TO DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE (INCLUDING THE SWEEPSTAKES WEBSITE) OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK ALL LEGAL AND EQUITABLE REMEDIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Entries that are in excess of the stated limits, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, damaged, destroyed, forged, false, lost, late or misdirected, deceptive or otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes at Sponsor’’ sole and absolute discretion.   The use of automated or similar devices, which subvert the entry process, including but not limited to entries submitted using any bot, macro, script, or Sweepstakes service (or any other devices intended to automate any aspect of entry) to enter this Sweepstakes is prohibited and entries through such devices are void. The Website’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes.  Illegible and/or incomplete entries and entries submitted by Entrants who do not meet the eligibility requirements (including all requirements with respect to age and residence) are void.  Those who do not follow all of the instructions, provide the required information in their entry form, or abide by these Official Rules or other instructions of the Sponsor may be disqualified. Entrants further agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which shall be final and binding.

Winner Determination: For each Sweepstakes Period listed below, one (1) potential winner (will be selected in an individual random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Sweepstakes Period by Administrator, an independent judging organization, whose decisions will be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a Prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. Limit one (1) Prize per person/valid email address.

Winner Notification: By entering, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which will be final and binding in all respects. The potential Prize winners will be notified by email.

The potential Prize winners will be required to execute and return a Prize Claim form within (2) days of date of issuance of notification. Non-compliance with the foregoing or with these Official Rules in any way, the inability to contact a potential winner (as specified above) or return of prize or prize notification as non-deliverable may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s discretion, the awarding of the applicable prize to an alternate potential winner in a random drawing from among all remaining entries for the drawing at issue. Prize will be awarded to the person named on the applicable entry (subject to verification of eligibility and the terms of these Official Rules).  In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any Entrant, the Entrant will be deemed the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry provided that such individual is eligible and such individual complied with these Official Rules.  “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.  Proof (to Sponsor’s satisfaction) of being the authorized account holder may be required by Sponsor.  In the event a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who actually submitted an entry cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.  The Released Parties are not responsible for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in Entrant’s e-mail account to receive e-mail messages.  The Released Parties are not responsible for false, incorrect, changed, incomplete or illegible contact information. Potential winners in Canada will be required to correctly answer a skill testing question prior to being confirmed as a winner. In the event: (a) a potential winner cannot be reached for whatever reason after a reasonable effort has been exerted based on the information stated in the Registration, (b) of noncompliance with the above or within any of the aforesaid time periods, (c) a potential winner is found to be ineligible to enter this Sweepstakes or receive the given prize, (d) a potential winner cannot or does not comply with the Official Rules, (e) any email notification to a potential winner is returned as undeliverable for whatever reason, (f) a potential winner in Canada fails to correctly answer the skill testing question, or (g) the potential winner declines to receive the prize to be awarded for whatever reason, the potential winner shall be disqualified from this Sweepstakes and the prize will go unawarded at the sole discretion of the Sponsors.

Prizes: Twenty Two (22) Prizes/one (1) Prize will be awarded per Sweepstakes Period: Each winner will receive, tickets to a 2023-2024 NBA regular season game located nearest to their residence. Quantity of game tickets and exact game to be determined by Sponsor. A minimum of two (2) and a maximum of four (4) game tickets will be awarded based on the selected NBA market. Maximum Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize =$599USD / $814.01CAD.

Prize Conditions: Limit one (1) Prize per person/household/valid email address. Once the Prize Claim form is received the respective prize will be emailed to the winner 24 hours prior the applicable game. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. ARV of the game tickets are as of the printing dates of these Official Rules and may vary based on the applicable NBA market. NBA Game tickets are subject to availability as determined by the NBA. The Released Parties are not responsible for, and winner will not receive the difference, in any, between the actual value of the prize(s) at the time of award and the stated ARV in these Official Rules or in any Sweepstakes-related correspondence or material.  Costs other than as stated in these Official Rules, including without limitation, travel to and from a game, accommodation, food, or other incidentals, is not included in prize and is each winner’s sole responsibility. Exact game dates and NBA team to be determined by the NBA. Tickets are subject to terms and conditions specified thereon. Seat locations will be determined by the NBA. No more than the stated prize(s) will be awarded.  Total Maximum ARV of all prizes: $13,178 USD/$17,898.36CAD.

Miscellaneous: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of prizes (or portion thereof) except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or applicable portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value (except as otherwise provided above), at its sole discretion. All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes, if any) and all other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of a prize not specified herein as being awarded are winners’ sole responsibility. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to: 1.) disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process, the operation of NBA.com, or any other component of this Sweepstakes, or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules; and 2.) modify, suspend or terminate this Sweepstakes for any reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, including should virus, bug, worm, unauthorized intervention or other causes, including but not limited to war, strikes, pandemic, terrorist activities, and/or acts of God, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes and, in the event of termination, at its discretion, select winners from among eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event requiring such termination. By participating, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1.) Released Parties and their designees and assigns may use (unless prohibited by law) such Entrant’s name, voice, city/state/province/territory of residence, biographical information, photograph, and/or other visual likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or for the purpose of posting his/her name on NBA.com and/or for TV or radio broadcasts and/or for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known worldwide in perpetuity without further compensation, permission or notification; and 2.) Released Parties are released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by Entrants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind (whether due to negligence or otherwise) to person(s), including death, or property, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize, or participation in this Sweepstakes.

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties: IN NO EVENT WILL THE RELEASED PARTIES AND/OR THEIR PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR SWEEPSTAKES AGENCIES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE ENTRY FORM AND/OR THE WEBSITE. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE RELEASED PARTIES’ TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED $35,000. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THE WEBSITE INCLUDING THE PRIZES IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS FOR ANY RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS REGARDING THESE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS

Arbitration: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association and held in New York County, New York; (2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and (3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than Entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with participating in this Sweepstakes), and Entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

Choice of Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of New York, USA without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s law.

Entry Information and Sweepstakes Communications:  As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant gives consent for Sponsor to obtain and deliver his or her name, address and other information to third parties for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and to comply with applicable laws, regulations and rules.  Any information Entrants provide to Sponsor may be used to communicate with Entrant in relation to this Sweepstakes or on a Sweepstakes winners list.   The information provided by Entrants will be used pursuant to the NBA’s privacy policy available at: http://www.nba.com/news/privacy_policy.html.
